Elements of a Trade Show Display

Just like any good advertising, an effective trade show display can make or break your trade show sales or conversions. Depending on the type of show, an effective exhibit can utilize a variety of techniques and equipment.

The right size, configuration (inline, peninsula or island exhibit), booth type (pop up display, modular panel system, or custom exhibit), graphics, counters or podiums and literature racks, can have a dramatic effect on the number of people who visit your booth, sign up for your services, and take your materials.

There are many types of exhibit booths to allow you to design your exhibit displays according to your specific marketing needs and to market your product or service most effectively.

Along with your booth, you might need a display counter or table -- and a place to put all of your display materials.

Table top displays, pop displays and banner stands can be used within your exhibit to convey more detailed information about your product or service.

If you are distributing a variety of brochures or other collateral, you may find a literature rack beneficial your exhibiting efforts. A literature rack can make your materials more presentable and easier for you to organize and keep track of them. A better organized display area will appear more professional and create more appeal for potential prospects.

Banner stands are a key marketing element for exhibits. Banner stands can be used as large ads placed around your trade show display that draw attention to your exhibit. An impressive banner stand can greatly increase the amount of traffic visiting your booth by providing initial information that will interest attendees and cause them to seek more information.

The lighting of your exhibit can also be a significant factor in your ability to attract visitors to your display area. The level and positioning of lights can bring focus to your entire booth.

Interlocking display flooring can make your exhibit seem more professional, more comfortable, and more inviting. Trade show display flooring comes in many forms, from hardwood flooring to soft carpet flooring.

Graphics are also key to effective exhibiting.. A powerful graphics design can spark interest in passers by, cause them to take your literature, or inspire them to ask more questions and possible convert into a sale or contact.

The right setup, trade show booths, pop up displays, graphics, and literature or literature racks, can have a dramatic effect on the number of people who take your literature, sign up for your services, or just walk by hardly noticing you.
